Upholstery and textile design for a second hand Artifort Vega chair. A beautiful chair, designed by Jasper Morrison.
I made a new digitally printed textile design. A pattern design which follows the shape of the object. The lines of the textile pattern appear to flow seamlessly from the chair’s frame, as if woven from the structure itself. The colors are carefully picked by a process of testing and adjusting, making this chair a true statement piece!
The textile was printed at House of U, textile printing.. A U-circular textile made out of 100% Trevira recycled polyester with a heavy weight and a natural look. The fabric is made of Trevira fibers and is therefore 100% fire retardant.
